Mark's latest project

Mark came up with this wonderful idea to redo Conner's room. I was a little worried about it at first but I think it is turning out really cute. We bought an old truck bed from a guy in Provo and have made it into a bed for Conner. Here are a few pics of it. There are still a few things we need to do to finish it but Conner slept in it last night.

Paxton's Surgery

Paxton's had tubes put in his ears yesterday. He was such a trooper. Everyone told me that it was just a simple surgery but I always worry about things way more than I need to. But he did great. He didn't cry when they took him into surgery and he didn't cry after they brought him out. We have been seeing the ENT since Paxton was 6 months old and he just kept waiting to see if his little ear canals would grow, but they never did. He has had fluid behind both of his ears everytime we went to the doctor. So I am really hoping that this will help us from getting sick so much.

I thought we were safe...

but Paxton has figured a few things out. He now knows how to open our cupboards and clean them out. He gets so excited when he gets the door open and then he tries to climb up into the cupboard.

Lots of work

We have started to plan out our yard. We moved into our home in October and we have had a mud for so long. We are ready to be able to play outside and not have to be hosed down afterwards. This past weekend we put together our swingset. There are a few things left to do but it is playable. Conner and Paxton love it! And I am so glad to be able to do something outside without getting too dirty. We have a little swing for Paxton and he loved it. Everytime I pushed him, he would laugh and laugh.

I am starting this blog because I have been inspired by several of my friends. It is so much fun to read about what their families are doing. I am very excited and hope that you enjoy seeing what our family is up to.
