Crazy Busy

I know that I am probably over reacting.  But I feel like everything is so crazy right now.  Yesterday I was woken up at 6:00 to the little boys causing mischief in their bedrooms and I don't think I stopped RUNNING around until 8:30 at night when I finally sat down.  And I just happened to fall asleep on the couch at 9:30 while Mark and I are watching tv because I cannot keep my eyes open any more.

It's good though.  And I'm glad that I am busy because I don't know what I would do otherwise.

So here is what has been happening lately...

A couple weeks ago we were able to go on a nice Sunday afternoon walk (did I mention how much I love having 9:00 church!)
When we told Bo to sit, so did Paxton.  Who knew?
We got a new toy that we have lots of fun with!  Here is Conner working out with the Kinect.
And last but not least, our little fish, Ronnie, past away.  Conner was really sad, but has eventually gotten over it.  And he actually has not asked for another one yet, we'll see how long that lasts.  Here is Conner's tribute to Ronnie.

World Down Syndrome Day

Most people don't know it but today is World Down Syndrome Day.  A day to celebrate all of those that have a little something extra, an extra chromosome.  March 21st was chosen to represent the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome that makes up Down syndrome.

I spent this morning helping out in Paxton's class, just like I do every Monday.  But I wanted to share something with all of his classmates on this special day and hopefully each of their families will take the time to look at it too.  I made a little book with pictures of Paxton and the things that he loves to do.  I hope to covey the message that Paxton is more like each of them then he is different.  I got this idea from a book we got when Paxton was born.

Monster Trucks!

You here it advertised all the time.  And everytime I heard it I thought that it would be fun for our boys to see.  So we did it.  We went to the Monster Jam a couple weeks ago.  It was lots of fun but now I can say that I have been to one and I don't think that I need to go again.  The boys (all 4 of them) thought that it was pretty cool.  And they all thought they were even cooler in their headphones!  Because it was loud!!!!

As we were walking in to our seat, one of the trucks revved its engine and it scared Paxton to death!  But once those headphones were on they were just fine.

And here is Mark's attempt at getting some cool action shots...
