Yesterday Conner had a parent's day at preschool. He was very excited to show us everything that he has been learning about this year. His class memorized a cute Thanksgiving poem, so I had him "perform" it for me. Beware, my son is a goof ball. And sorry about having to kink your neck, I need to figure out how to turn the video.

It's birthday time!
It is Mark's birthday today. We ended up celebrating yesterday, since Mark gets the priveledge of watching the boys while I play volleyball tonight. Conner was so excited that he couldn't keep anything a secret from Mark. We met Mark at Walmart and the first thing Conner said was, "We have birthday cupcakes at home." So no surprises for Daddy.

Paxton Got Stuck
in the chairs as I was moping the floor yesterday. We had spent the whole morning making applesauce and had made a pretty big mess. Paxton thought it was really funny though, so did the rest of us.
October Update
We have had so much going on this October. I hope that the rest of the year isn't like this. I do like to be busy, but not this much. So here is a brief review of some of the things that I haven't posted about already. Get ready for a ton of pictures!

Halloween Night

We went trick or treating with our neighbors, down our street. I was surprised how fast the kids caught on.
Wow! That was a lot of pictures. Hope you enjoy them.

Coming to an end
until next year. October was Down syndrome awareness month. So to bring it to an end I would like to tell you about the 21 things our family loves about Paxton. 21 is the chromosome that is tripled in Paxton's genetic makeup.
1. I love his cheesy smile and laugh.
2. I love to watch him discover new things.
3. I love how he gives the best hugs you could ever get.
4. I love how he is starting to vocalize more. Sometimes we even hear a "mama" or
"dada" out of him.
5. I love his slobbery kisses.
6. I love that he grabs a book and climbs up onto my lap.
7. I love the way that he sleeps, all curled up just like I do.
8. I love the way he makes people smile.
9. I love the new people we have meet because he came to our family.
10. I love how he has starting to figure things out like his toys and other things. He really loves to play.
11. I love that he is curious about things. Sometimes you can just see his little brain working.
12. I love when I get to spend time with just him.
13. I love his cute little feet and his little nose.
14. I love how he reaches out for me to pick him up.
15. I love how he is starting to hold his own with Conner. There are lots of times when I come downstairs and Paxton is sitting on Conner.
16. I love to watch him eat something that he really likes, for instance yogurt. He can't get enough of it, or should I say I can't shovel it in fast enough.
17. I love that he is so persistent and determined at things, like learning to roll over, army crawl, crawling, shape sorting toys and all of his fine motor developments.
18. This probably isn't the best thing for a mom to love, but I love to watch him when he gets mad. It is just so funny.
19. I love how our people respond to him, ever since he was a tiny baby everyone has just been drawn to him.
20. Conner says, "I love playing with him."
21. We just love Paxton!
