Easter 2009

We had a really fun Easter this year. We got to celebrate several times with both sides of the family. Our first party was with my family. We had dinner at my parents and then we had to find our Easter baskets and eggs in the backyard.

Paxton was more interested in the sand box than looking for his basket and eggs. But he did join in the fun for a moment. For FHE we colored Easter eggs and then decorated them. On Saturday we headed out to Vernal, for Carson's baptism. The baptism was really good and Conner was excited to see him get baptized. After the baptism and lunch, the Easter bunny visited Jason and Misty's house and left eggs for all the kids. And there was not a short supply of eggs.

Paxton came home with some cute Easter stuff from preschool. And finally, the Easter bunny left our boys some cool galoshes, so that we can play in our yard and not have to get our regular shoes muddy, (at least until we get grass!) Paxton is still trying to figure out how to walk in them, and Conner loves them and wants to wear them everywhere.

I love the one with Paxton showing you his egg--he looks so proud.
