Up the Canyon

We spent the afternoon up the canyon one day before school started.  It was crazy to see how much the water has gone down from the last time we were there.  It was low enough that the kids could wade around in the river.  And they had a ton of fun.

Like always, Paxton loves to throw rocks into the water 

and can easily find the best place to get dirty. 

We attempted to take a little family picture with our self timer.  We didn't realize that our camera will take like 5 pictures in a row.  So here is our picture session...

The first one turned out pretty good!

 Then we all started to move, and no, I'm not picking my nose!  

That's when we realized it was still taking pictures!

 Bo is trying to get away and Paxton has escaped!

I love that we live so close to the canyon.  It only takes 10 minutes to get up here.  We often come up for just a couple of hours when we have nothing else going on.
